The purpose of this policy is to inform you that any personal data you send to the website www.amedei.it to make online purchases or to receive newsletters or information, or request booking or assistance, will be processes fairly and correctly in compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/03.
Amedei Srl, the processing controller, wishes to inform you that the personal data you provide will be collected, recorded, organized, stored, processed, and transmitted for the purposes described below, in compliance with those regulations and the duties of confidentiality on which our activity is based. Since the website www.amdei.it operates and is hosted in Italy, information and data related to users will be processed by Amedei S.r.l. in conformity with Italian law and EU Regulation no. 679/2016.
1. Purposes
Online purchases.
Personal data must be collected in order to execute your purchase contracts and must be recorded on the website as indicated below. Failure to provide the personal data requested will make it impossible to execute the purchase orders.
Newsletter and direct marketing
With your explicit consent, your personal data may be processed for e-mailing you informative, promotional and/or advertising material on Amedei S.r.l. products and services. Providing personal data for this purpose is optional: failure to provide them will not preclude you from visiting our website or making online purchases.
Assistance, information and bookings
To request consumer assistance and information, and to make bookings with Amedei S.r.l. online or by telephone, you may contact the data controller through the telephone numbers and e-mail addresses published on the website. Any data provided will be used and/or transmitted to third parties only to provide consumer assistance.
2. Processing
Your data will be processed through paper-based, electronic and digital supports following security measures to ensure their integrity and confidentiality.
In the case of online purchases, the data will be stored for the time necessary to execute the orders and fulfill legal obligations and for a subsequent period not to exceed one year. If you consent to the sending of newsletters or other forms of direct marketing, the data will be stored by the data controller, without prejudicing your ability to exercise your rights as described below. In case of requests for information, the data will be processed for the time necessary to provide the requested assistance. The data controller is Amedei S.r.l., with registered offices in Pontedera, Località La Rotta, Via San Gervasio, 29, and may also be contacted by e-mail at amedei@amedei.it, to exercise our rights as provided in European Regulation no. 679/2016 and in Italian legislation governing the protection of personal data.
For managing its website, including the newsletter service and online purchases and shipments, Amedei S.r.l. utilizes the services of Sendabox S.r.l., with offices in Milan at Viale Carlo Espinasse 163, CAP 20156. For application, functional, and technological reasons, the data controller may also utilize the services of other outside companies appointed as processing officers pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679, and you may obtain a list of them by formal request to the data controller.
3. Transmission of data
In the case of online purchases, your personal data will be processed exclusively for purposes related to the execution of the contract and may be transmitted, for that purpose, to outside companies and/or competent public entities.
In the case of consent for direct marketing activities and/or subscription to the newsletter service, your personal data will be processed by Amedei S.r.l. and/or Sendabox S.r.l. for forwarding informative, promotional and /or advertising material related to products and services.
If you decided to provide your data by telephone or online to request assistance or information or to make bookings, the data provided may be transmitted to third parties only for the purposes of providing assistance and consumer support.
4. Exercising your rights
With regard to the above, please be advised that pursuant to articles 13(2) and 14(2) of EU Regulation 679/2016 you are entitled to ask Amedei S.r.l. for access to your personal data and to correct or cancel them or limit or oppose their processing, as well as the right to their portability. You shall have the right to revoke consent at any time without prejudicing the legality of processing based on the consent provided before the revocation. You shall have the right to receive confirmation of their existence, cancel them, transform them into anonymous form, and block any data illegally processed, to update, correct or supplement the data, and to obtain certification that those to whom the data have been transmitted or disclosed have been informed of these operations. You shall also have the right to file claims with a supervisory authority.

5. Consent
Consent may only be provided by capable individuals who may validly do so and, in any case, by those who have reached 16 years of age (see Article 8 of European Regulation 679/2016). While the data controller will make every effort to cancel any personal data provided by individuals under 16 years of age, the data controller reminds parents and legal guardians that it is their responsibility to closely monitor the online behavior of the minors and guide them in their Internet browsing experience. For any reports or requests for cancellation of data fraudulently or untruthfully provided by individuals under 16 years of age, parents or legal guardians are invited to contact the data controller.
